I'm Michael Beck, and as an Executive Coach and Business Strategist, I'm always on the lookout for exceptional people.
I recently had the opportunity to speak with two professionals, Dr. Cathy Greenberg and Dr. Relly Nadler, who are experts in the fields of Emotional Intelligence and Positive Psychology. They each have a great message to deliver and they share it in an engaging, relatable way.
I haven't always been the leader I am today. The lessons I've learned I learned the hard way, making plenty of costly (and sometimes thoughtless) mistakes throughout my career. Here is an opportunity to avoid making the same mistakes I made and learn some impactful leadership lessons from two of the best leadership experts out there.
I'll be asking them how to:
-
Avoid tasks that don't match your strengths
-
Avoid being passed over for promotions
-
Avoid taking on clients who aren't a good fit
-
Avoid getting cut-off by "over-talkers"
-
Improve your confidence and effectiveness as a leader
Here is some information about their impressive backgrounds:

|
Dr. Relly Nadler is founder of True North Leadership, speaker, psychologist and author of "Leading with Emotional Intelligence", published by McGraw-Hill this fall. This book provides leaders with over 100 strategies to develop their teams and the new leaders replacing retiring Baby Boomers.
Thirty years of experience consulting and training executives at corporations including Dreamworks, AT&T, BMW, Hilton Hotels, Anheuser Busch and many others, has contributed to Dr. Nadler’s development of powerful “micro-initiatives” that provide “macro-results.” Emotional intelligence (EQ), rather than IQ, is the single greatest factor for consistent goal achievement and business success.
Dr. Nadler is a regular expert blogger for Psychology Today. His Emotional Intelligence tools, the Leadership Keys, Audio and new iPhone applications give leaders immediate ”how to’s” in raising their EI and their team's EI. |
