About Michael Beck

Michael Beck

For as long as I can remember, I've seen things differently than most other people. Growing up, it sometimes made it hard to fit in, but as a professional it's been an invaluable asset. My ability to see a different perspective has served me well. Over my 30+ years of domestic and international experience, I've developed a keen ability to sort through the clutter and find the best route to a solution. My distinct way of thinking allows me to see patterns, where others simply see complexity. This has proven especially useful in the strategic work I do for small and mid-sized companies.

I do what I do for three reasons. It energizes me to see clients reach their full potential. I find it rewarding to see leaders elevate their success by developing others. And I really enjoy the variety my work brings to my day.

Professional Background:

I've been an executive coach and strategist for over 12 years, but prior to that worked in a variety of industries and held executive positions including EVP, COO, and CFO. One of my more interesting careers was living overseas as a Business Advisor to a member of the Royal Family in Saudi Arabia. I have an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, as well as a couple of engineering degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. I'm a regular contributor to a number of online and print publications, and am a professional speaker.
